Data we process
We process account details, authentication events, consent records, tenant memberships, technical diagnostics and deliberately selected product analytics.
Why we process data
We use data to authenticate users, secure accounts, provide support, meet legal obligations and improve the product where a lawful basis permits.
Service providers
Clerk provides authentication, Convex stores application data, Vercel hosts the app, Sentry may receive scrubbed diagnostics, PostHog receives allowlisted analytics after consent, and Google handles OAuth when selected.
AI assistants you connect
You may connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your account. It then acts as you, with your permissions, and the data it reads to answer you, which can include the names, classes and progress of the people you manage, goes to the company that provides it, under that company's own terms. That company is chosen by you and is not one of Angels' service providers. Angels does not send your data to an assistant you have not connected, and its changes are recorded under your name. You can disconnect every assistant at any time from your account, and your institution can turn assistants off for everyone in it.
International transfers
Providers may process data in other countries. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the applicable jurisdiction.
Retention
We retain account data while needed for the service, security, legal claims and compliance. Consent and audit records may be kept longer to demonstrate compliance.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped authorization, logging safeguards and incident procedures. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent through the privacy contact.
Cookies
Necessary cookies support authentication, security, language and theme. Optional analytics stays disabled where consent or regional policy does not permit it.
Age
Public self-registration is currently for adults aged 18 or older. We do not intentionally offer this flow to children.
